FT 1000 ranking: Paris is home to the Europe’s fastest growing companies
The Financial Times, in partnership with Statista, has published the very first “FT 1000”, a list of European companies achieving the highest percentage growth in revenues between 2012 and 2015.
No fewer than 45 of the companies on the list are based in Paris, making the French capital the second largest hub for innovation and commerce in the EU after London (78), followed by Milan (34) and Berlin (32).
Management consulting firm Theano Advisors is the highest French company in the ranking (8th), with a compound annual growth rate of 288%. Comme j’aime, specializing in nutritionally balanced dishes, took 37th place, while universal SIM card connectivity solution provider Matooma came in 51st. In all, there are a total of 13 French companies in the top 100, including Adxperience, Bébé Boutik, Lemonway and Madgik.
France is ranked first in Europe for the number of fastest growing companies in the technology sector with 45 companies, ahead of the United Kingdom (42), Germany (30), Italy (17) and Spain (6).
