Publication of few decrees of the immigration law

On July 16th, 8 applications decrees of the immigration law have been published. Among them, the decree applying the contract of commitment to the principles of the Republic. 

Since July 17th, every foreign individual wishing to stay in France with a residence permit must sign the commitment contract.  

Its signature and its respect determine obtention, validity and renewal of each type of residence permit.  

Contract provides compliance of:  

• Personal freedom   
• Freedom of expression and conscience   
• Equality between men and women   
• Human dignity  
• The symbols of Republic   
• Respect for France’s territorial integrity  
• Laicity
