Schengen visa: Increase in short stay visa fee

The European Commission has announced that from June 11, 2024, the amount of short stay visa (Schengen visa) fees will increase by 12.5%.   

• Increase from 80 to 90 euros for those over 12 years old  

• Increase from 40 to 45 euros for children under 12 years old  

• Free visas for children under 6 years old remain unchanged.   

 On the other hand, no increase is planned for Schengen visa extension fees, which will remain at 30 euros.
