France/United-States: a simplified visa system for investors
On November 16th, Olivier becht, minister delegate for foreign trade, attractiveness, and French Nationals abroad, and Denise Campbell Bauer, U.S Ambassador to the French Republic and the principality of Monaco, announced a new visa and residence permit system for French and American investors.
Already applicable, this new system will enable American investors and their families (his/her spouse and minor children) to benefit from a specific procedure, making it easier for them to obtain a visa and a 4-year residence permit under the “talent passport” status.
From their sides, French investors in the United-State will be able to benefit from a 4-year visa, compared with 2 years only before this agreement.
