Tax reduction on residence permits!

In order to foster and attract foreign talents to France by welcoming them in the best conditions, the fees for the issuance and renewal of all residence permits have been significantly reduced.

Indeed, all fees have been aligned as follows:

• The standard tax for the issuance and the renewal of residence permits went from €250 to €200.
• The special rates intended for some categories of foreign nationals (student and similar, children over 18 admitted for family reunification before their majority) went from €30, €60 and €120 to a single rate of €50.

This global reduction of tax rates illustrates France’s desire to facilitate the integration of foreign nationals and to simplify the current system.
